We are looking for young leaders to help us meet our goal of donating 100 baskets of produce each week during the growing season.  We are fundraising for two on-site managers to stabilize our operations this summer. We will have four set days a week and our interns will be responsible with assisting in all planting, harvesting, garden upkeep, and donation procedures.  Please reach out to  sean@realfoodshare.org if you are interested.

Running a successful non-profit takes a lot of collaboration and coordination.  Please contact sean@realfoodshare.org  to discuss becoming part of our growing team of Core Volunteers.

Partnership Opportunities

Real Food Share is committed to developing a hyper-local, sustainable food system that produces healthy food for everyone.  We are starting in Newtown, CT but hope to build a network of local systems as partners supporting those in need.

The more food we grow, the more we can donate.  If you are in Newtown and think your organization may be interested in becoming a production, education, or distribution partner please let us know.

Our efforts to provide the most nutritious food for our community will go farther and faster with your support.  Let us know if you or your company are interested in sponsoring part of our project.

We are excited to partner with like-minded organizations that are trying to make an impact in getting healthy food to people that need it.  We’d be happy to share data, techniques, strategies and more. Let us know if you want to team up.

More than ever there is a need for a localized food system.  If you are an individual or group that wants to create a chapter of Real Food Share, based on your town’s needs and available resources, please reach out to us to start the executive planning process.

Visit Our Farmstands

Come by our farm stands at Sticks and Stones Farm, the CVH Animal Sanctuary, and the Newtown Farmers Market.  We will have some of our wonderful produce available to be had by “honor system.” You can donate to our cause by leaving us cash donations for some produce.  Leave as much as you can, it will help us serve those who can’t afford it.
