Who We Are
Real Food Share is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy food. We are transforming and uplifting our local food system to eliminate hunger.
What We Do
We run two small farms in Newtown, CT, we collect surplus produce from multiple local farms, and we donate all of this fresh produce to food pantries across our region. In addition, our education platform empowers residents with the skills to make an ongoing impact to end hunger.
Join a group of volunteers ready to grow and donate over 30,000 pounds of fresh produce to our neighbors in need in 2021. There are many ways to contribute, on and off the farm.
